A NOVEL BY ELIAN KAIROS

PRIMACY

What if the life you chose was never entirely yours?

A reality-bending novel about choice, the futures we leave behind, and the possibility that the world is not quite what it seems.

01 / THE QUESTION

AN UNCOMFORTABLE POSSIBILITY

How much of your life did you actually choose?

We make decisions every day, then learn to call the result our life. Some are deliberate. Others arrive disguised as expectations, habits, obligations, or the simple fear of disappointing someone.

Yet there are moments when another possibility seems close enough to feel. A coincidence lands too precisely. An old desire loses its hold. A decision that made perfect sense yesterday begins to feel impossible today.

PRIMACY begins in that unsettling distance between the life we are living and the life that might still be available.

Not every signal is an answer. But perhaps the questions we dismiss too quickly are worth asking.

02 / THE BOOK

ENTER THE WORLD OF PRIMACY

A different way of seeing the possible.

PRIMACY explores the relationship between choice and reality through an intimate, speculative lens. It follows the consequences of decisions that do more than change what happens next: they challenge what a life can become.

Part philosophical inquiry, part story of human connection, it asks what remains of freedom when our desires, fears, and familiar identities have already narrowed the future we can imagine.

This is an invitation to look again at coincidence, intuition, the paths we repeat, and the futures we leave behind.

REVIEW01 / 03

★★★★★

I think I know one of them.

I swear I know someone exactly like the Primarials described in the book. I obviously can't prove it, but after reading this, I am entirely convinced they just see the board differently than the rest of us. A deeply unsettling and brilliant book.

REVIEW02 / 03

★★★★★

Ruined my worldview (in a good way).

I used to be heavily into looking for 'signs' and asking the universe for direction. This novel completely dismantled that. The idea that waiting for a sign is just a way of surrendering your own agency hit way too close to home. It’s technically fiction, but it feels like a very necessary wake-up call.

QUESTION03 / 03

The burden of seeing the paths.

If fate is just blindness, and becoming a Primarial means learning to see the alternative paths, what happens when you see a reality that is objectively better but requires doing something terrible? Does just seeing the options make you responsible for the outcome?
